Accessibility Statement for GRAI
This website , which can be found at: GRAI Registration ) is run by the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI). We are committed to ensuring our services are accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities.
We are dedicated to making the Registration Gateway accessible in accordance with the EU Web Accessibility Directive and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standard. However, the Registration Gateway is currently semi-compliant due to the non-compliances listed below.
This statement was last reviewed on 4th December 2025.
How We Approach Accessibility
We regularly test the Registration Gateway to identify and resolve accessibility issues. We utilize an accessibility compliance monitoring tool, AccessiBe (https://accessibe.com/), which scans our website and provides recommendations for WCAG 2.2, ADA, and other accessibility standards.
Additionally, we conduct internal accessibility assessments and consult with users to enhance the experience for all visitors.
Accessibility Problems We’ve Found
The latest audit on 4th December 2025 identified 2 accessibility issues categorized as follows:
Each page should include hidden skip links that allow users (via keyboard or screen reader) to bypass certain blocks and navigate directly to main landmarks like the main content, menu, or footer.
Menus should be built using the HTML5 "nav" element or include a "role" attribute set to "menu" or"navigation" to indicate a navigation landmark for screen readers.
We aim to have these rectified by our next accessibility review in March 2026.
